Amaury Pierron se lesiona de gravedad compitiendo

Amaury Pierron se ha visto involucrado en un serio accidente mientras competía en el Campeonato Nacional de Francia de Descenso.

El accidente tuvo lugar en su última vuelta, durante un salto, y tuvo que ser recogido por un helicóptero para ser trasladado al hospital.

Múltiples lesiones fueron detectadas, como un dedo dislocado, la clavícula rota y una fractura de apófisis transversa en vértebra L1 y L2.

Este es el segundo accidente en carreras consecutivas para el francés, que no ha tenido el mejor de los regresos a la competición.

What a nightmare. 2 crashes in 2 races. That’s not what I’m use to. I’m so disappointed about myself. But that’s what it is, and my crash last weekend was gnarly. I dislocated my finger, tried to put it back in place on track, but missed it. Then I felt my collarbone was broken. I walked next to the track to sat down. And then I felt a massive pain in my back, I needed a place to lie down. So walked bit more. Resulted with broken transverse apophysis L1 and L2. Pain was higher and higher. Spent a night/day at the hospital, and was repatriated yesterday evening. I would say massive thanks to my team @commencal_mucoff for the amazing support, good or bad times. My family and my 2 special nurses 🥰❤️ And all of you guys for the messages ! Special thanks to @bellbikehelmets for best helmets 🙏 And STAY SAFE.
